सिड्नी, २१ अगस्ट २०२५।अष्ट्रेलियाका प्रमुख सहरहरूमा  आगामी ३१ अगस्टमा आयोजना गरिने “March for Australia / Australia First” र्याली प्रति   गैर आवासीय नेपाली संघ (NRNA) अष्ट्रेलियाले  विरोध जनाएको छ। संघले विज्ञप्ति जारी गर्दै सो प्रकारका आप्रवासी विरोधी गतिविधि अष्ट्रेलियाको बहुसांस्कृतिक मूल्य, समावेशिता र सामाजिक सद्भावका विरुद्ध रहेको बताएको छ।

विज्ञप्तिमा अष्ट्रेलियाको सामाजिक विविधता र आप्रवासी समुदायहरूको योगदानलाई प्रशंसा गर्दै, आप्रवासीलाई दोषारोप गर्ने प्रवृत्तिलाई अस्वीकार गर्न सबैलाई आह्वान गरिएको छ। संघले आप्रवासी तथा प्रवासी समुदायले अष्ट्रेलियाको अर्थतन्त्र, संस्कृति र समाजलाई मजबुत बनाउन निरन्तर योगदान दिँदै आएको उल्लेख गरेको छ।

यस्तै, संघले अष्ट्रेलियाली सरकार, सामुदायिक नेतृत्व र आम नागरिकलाई समाजमा एकता र सद्भाव बढाउन र घृणा फैलाउने गतिविधि अस्वीकार गर्न आग्रह गरेको छ।

Subject: Opposition to Anti-Immigration Rallies Across Australia

The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Australia strongly condemns the planned “March for Australia / Australia First” rallies scheduled for 31 August 2025 in major cities across Australia. These rallies, which promote anti-immigration sentiment and division, are contrary to the values of multiculturalism, inclusivity, and social harmony that define Australia.

NRNA Australia affirms its commitment to celebrating the diversity of Australia’s communities, including the significant contributions of immigrants and diaspora communities who enrich the nation economically, culturally, and socially. We firmly reject any attempt to scapegoat migrants for societal challenges and urge all Australians to stand against racism, xenophobia, and division.

We call on government authorities, community leaders, and citizens to promote unity and reject hate-based movements. NRNA Australia will continue to work for the inclusion, respect, and well-being of all multicultural communities in Australia.
