Canberra to Host CAPA Airline Leader Summit Australia Pacific 2027
CAPA – Centre for Aviation has selected Canberra to host the CAPA Airline Leader Summit Australia Pacific 2027, bringing some of the aviation industry’s most influential leaders to Australia’s capital in June 2027.
The summit will bring together airline chief executives, airport executives, aviation experts and government decision-makers from across the Asia-Pacific region to discuss the future of aviation, airline growth and regional connectivity.
Hosting the event is expected to strengthen Canberra’s position as a key aviation and business destination while providing an opportunity to promote the city directly to airline executives responsible for planning new routes and investment.
Officials say the summit supports long-term efforts to improve connectivity through Canberra Airport by encouraging greater airline interest, increasing competition and expanding domestic and international flight options. Improved connectivity could make travel to and from Canberra more accessible, affordable and convenient for residents, businesses and visitors.
The event is also expected to deliver economic benefits for the ACT by boosting tourism, hospitality and local businesses, while showcasing Canberra’s capability to host major international conferences and events.
Aviation leaders from Australia, the Pacific and other international markets are expected to gather in the nation’s capital for the summit in June 2027.
