Kathmandu, Nepal – The Nepal cricket team is set to play the first match of a T20 international series against the West Indies today. The match is historic for Nepal, as it marks the first time the team will face a Test-playing nation.
The game will take place at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the UAE, starting at 8:15 PM Nepal time. The three-match series will continue with the second game on Monday and the third and final game on Tuesday.
After the series, the Nepal team will travel to Oman, where the ICC T20 Asia Cup regional qualifiers will begin next week. The team is using this series as preparation for the upcoming tournament.
