Kathmandu Nepal: 16 Sept 2025— Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda,” the chair of the CPN (Maoist Centre), has announced plans to construct a new party headquarters after the existing building was damaged during recent demonstrations linked to the “Gen Z” movement.
During an inspection of the fire-affected office on Tuesday afternoon, Prachanda said the party would mobilize support from members both inside Nepal and abroad to build a modern and more extensive headquarters.
“The entire party, including our comrades at home and overseas, will contribute to the construction of a grand new office building,” he stated.
The Maoist Centre’s office was set ablaze earlier this week amid protests, leaving parts of the structure severely damaged.
