Media statement – shadow ministerial responsibilities |
|
|
Peter Cain MLA has resigned from the Canberra Liberals Shadow Cabinet, prompting a reshuffle of responsibilities within the opposition team. Updated roles have been confirmed, with changes highlighted in an internal table. Opposition Leader Leanne Castley said the team remains focused on holding ACT Labor to account, particularly over the 25 new or increased taxes in last week’s Budget. “The cost of living crisis remains front and centre for Canberrans,” Ms Castley said, criticising the Budget as “out of touch” with the community.
