Minister Kulman Ghising Denies Claims of Political Affiliation
6 Kartik, Kathmandu, Nepal — Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation Nepal, Kulman Ghising, has clarified that there has been no discussion regarding his affiliation with any political party.
Recent reports on social media and in certain news outlets claimed that Ghising was joining the Ujyalo Nepal Party and would be appointed as its chairperson. However, the minister dismissed these claims as completely false and baseless.
In an official statement, Minister Ghising said, “No such discussion has taken place as reported in the media. I have not participated in any Zoom meeting as claimed.”
He further stated that false and misleading information had been spread with ill intent to damage his reputation. Ghising urged the public not to be misled by such fabricated news.
