The road to national recognition begins now, as tourism operators across Australia are invited to nominate for the 2025 State and Territory Tourism Awards.

Tourism businesses from every corner of the country can now take their first step toward national acclaim, with nominations officially open for the 2025 State and Territory Tourism Awards. These awards serve as a vital gateway to the prestigious Australian Tourism Awards, recognising the best and brightest in the industry.

Gold winners from each state and territory program will earn the honour of representing their region on the national stage. The journey will culminate in a celebration of excellence at the 2025 Australian Tourism Awards gala, to be held in Fremantle, Western Australia, in early 2026.

Organisers have confirmed the qualifying period for eligible tourism activities and achievements spans from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025.

Now in its decades-long tradition, the Australian Tourism Awards program continues to highlight innovation, sustainability, and outstanding visitor experiences. It remains the industry’s highest accolade, offering winners unparalleled national exposure and credibility.

Tourism operators are encouraged to submit their entries early and begin preparing their submissions, which will be assessed on business excellence, innovation, marketing, and customer service.
