WorkerConnect Upgrades Connect 8,000 Jobseekers With NT Employers

More than 8,000 jobseekers are currently looking for work through the WorkerConnect portal, as new platform upgrades make it easier for Northern Territory businesses to find workers quickly.

The online platform connects local, national and international jobseekers with employers across the Territory and now includes enhanced tools aimed at improving recruitment and job searching.

A major new feature is the employer search alert function, which allows businesses to set up customised notifications when candidates with relevant skills upload new resumes to the portal.

Employers can continue searching for jobseekers based on skills, experience and work rights, while also advertising vacancies on the platform free of charge.

The industry search pages have also been refreshed with clearer job search tiles and defined industry sub-categories, creating a more intuitive browsing experience.

Jobseekers will benefit from enhanced search capabilities for regions and postcodes, allowing them to register interest in opportunities located in the areas of the Northern Territory where they want to live and work.

The upgrades are also expected to help employers better target candidates seeking opportunities in specific regions, rather than searching across the entire Territory.
