The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Australia has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that occurred at Bondi Beach on 14 December 2025, describing it as a cowardly, senseless, and inhumane act of violence.
In a statement, NRNA Australia expressed deep condolences to innocent civilians, victims’ families, and the wider Australian community affected by the incident. The organisation said the attack had caused profound grief and distress across the nation.
NRNA Australia also expressed solidarity with the Bondi community during this time of national mourning and extended its heartfelt sympathies to the families of the victims.
The statement commended the swift, courageous, and professional response of the Australian Federal Police, the NSW Police Force, civilians at the scene, as well as emergency and healthcare personnel. It noted that their prompt actions helped prevent further loss of life and ensured public safety.
Highlighting the Nepali community as an integral part of Australia’s multicultural society, NRNA Australia reaffirmed its commitment to peace, unity, and social harmony. The organisation unequivocally rejected terrorism, extremism, and hatred in all forms and called on all Australians to stand united, resilient, and compassionate against violence.
