Transport Canberra

Honour the spirit of Anzac Day by joining the Dawn Service or National Commemorative Service including the RSL ACT Branch Veterans’ March at the Australian War Memorial on Friday 25 April 2025.  

To make it easy for you to attend, Transport Canberra in collaboration with the Australian War Memorial, will be providing free bus services to both ceremonies so you don’t have to worry about finding a park.  

Registration is essential!  

To secure your spot, register for either ceremony via the Transport Canberra Eventbrite site or call 13 17 10. During registration, please select a pick-up location. 

Free travel is available all day for those wearing or displaying service medals on any regular Transport Canberra bus or light rail service. To assist us in managing customer demand and resources, we still request all medal holders to register to ride to the Anzac Day ceremonies.  

Remember, Anzac Day is a public holiday and regular bus and light rail services will operate on a Sunday timetable and frequency throughout the day.
