Australian Federal Police (AFP) Senior Executive Fined for Drink Driving Offence
An employee of the Australian Federal Police (AFP) has been issued an infringement notice for a low-range drink driving offence in Queanbeyan.
The incident occurred on Monday, 8 June 2026, and resulted in the employee’s driving privileges in New South Wales being suspended for three months.
In accordance with standard procedures, the AFP has commenced an internal investigation under its integrity framework to assess the matter.
The AFP stated that it remains committed to transparency and accountability.
No further comment will be made while the internal process is underway.
