Melbourne, September 13 – Lila Tiwari Paudel has been crowned Mrs Nepal Australia 2025 at a grand finale held in Melbourne. With her confidence, charm and inspiring presence, Paudel impressed both the judges and the audience to secure the coveted title.
Along with the crown, she also received the “Elegant Walk” title, AUD 1,000 in cash, a gift hamper worth NPR 50,000 from Let Me In Korean Hospital Nepal, and several other prizes.
Shiwani Kattel was declared the first runner–up, also winning the “Confidence” award. She received AUD 600 in cash and a gift hamper worth NPR 30,000. Ashma (Ash) Chalise became the second runner–up, winning the “Graceful Diva” title along with AUD 400 and a gift hamper worth NPR 20,000.
Originally from Butwal, Nepal, Paudel currently resides in Mickleham, Victoria. By profession she is a nurse and has a deep passion for her work. Outside of her career, she enjoys travelling.
This inaugural edition of Mrs Nepal Australia featured 14 Nepali married women living in Australia. Organisers highlighted that the event was not just a beauty pageant but also a celebration of Nepali culture, tradition and talent on an international platform.
Other titles were awarded to: Aakriti Sapkota (Bold & Beauty), Aarti Singh (Intellectual), Jamuna Adhikari Rizal (Congeniality), Niva Prajapati Sahukhal (Social Impact & Elegant Personality), Sandhya Bhattarai (Heart of Gold), Jasmin Chaulagain Dhakal (Mrs Poise), Anuja Malla Dhakal (Talent), Bidya Paneru (Discipline), Rashmi Adhikari (Photogenic), Deepa Khanal (Best Attitude), and Saraswati Shrestha (Fashionista).
The event was choreographed and hosted by Nepali fashion choreographer and media personality Rojin Shakya. It was organised by the Himalayan Culture Group Melbourne and Events Nepal Australia, presented by Miracle Migration & Education, and powered by Grace International Education & Migration.
The judging panel included actress and model Prakriti Shrestha, Miss Nepal Earth 2011 Anupama Aura Gurung, businessman Binod Kunwar, Sagar Shahi, and Prakash Regmi. Honorary Consul of Nepal for Victoria, Niranjan Gauli, attended as the chief guest.
According to the organisers, Mrs Nepal Australia aims to empower married Nepali women by promoting leadership, communication skills and personal growth, while also showcasing Nepal’s culture and tourism on a global stage.
