Wrong-Way Driver on Tuggeranong Parkway Sparks Multiple Collisions

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses after a vehicle was allegedly driven the wrong way along the northbound lanes of the Tuggeranong Parkway late Saturday night, causing at least three separate collisions.

Police said multiple emergency calls were received about 10pm on Saturday, 23 May 2026, reporting a white Toyota HiLux travelling against the flow of traffic between Hindmarsh Drive and Cotter Road.

Emergency services attended the scene and identified three separate crashes linked to the incident.

Paramedics from the ACT Ambulance Service assessed the occupants of the vehicles involved, with one person transported to hospital for further treatment.

ACT Policing is urging anyone who witnessed the collisions, or who may have dash-cam footage of the white Toyota HiLux bearing NSW registration DF77EC, to come forward.
