CPN–UML  Registers Party for Upcoming House Elections, In Nepal 

Kathmandu , Nepal:
The CPN–UML has formally registered itself with the Election Commission of Nepal ahead of the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21.

A team of UML leaders visited the commission’s office in Kantipath, Kathmandu Nepal on Tuesday to complete the registration process required for participating in the upcoming parliamentary polls. According to the party’s Election Department Chief Niraj Acharya, the UML updated its registration as part of its commitment to democratic procedures.

Acharya noted that the party regularly updates its documentation to align with democratic norms, emphasizing UML’s dedication to maintaining transparency and compliance with electoral guidelines.

In a parallel move, the UML also filed a writ petition at the Supreme Court the same day, calling for the reinstatement of the dissolved Parliament and arguing that such a step is necessary to restore constitutional order.

The party’s twin actions completing election registration and pursuing judicial intervention signal its preparations and strategic positioning ahead of the national polls.
