Nepal Sets Voter Roll and Polling Centres Ahead of 21 Falgun Election

Kathmandu, Nepal – Nepal’s Election Commission has released detailed figures on registered voters, polling locations, and polling centres ahead of the national election on 21 Falgun.

The Commission reports 18,903,689 registered voters nationwide, comprising 9,663,358 men, 9,240,131 women, and 200 voters registered as others..
To manage the election, authorities have designated 10,967 polling locations and 23,112 polling centres across the country, all equipped with the necessary physical, technical, and security infrastructure.

Province-level data shows that Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Lumbini have the highest voter numbers, while Karnali and Sudurpaschim register fewer voters. The Commission confirmed that even in remote provinces, polling infrastructure has been arranged according to local geography and population density.
The Commission emphasized that eligible voters should attend their assigned polling stations on 21 Falgun and exercise their democratic rights in a free, fair, and peaceful manner.
