On the occasion of International Everest Day NEPAFE (Nepalese Association of Agriculture, Forestry and Environment in Australia) Take Federation of Nepalese Community Associations of Australia (FeNCAA). This program was funded by Climate Action Network Australia (CANA) through its small grant program and Promote Support Australia (under the FeNCAA Network) in collaboration with 2025 National Youth Oratorical Competition on May 24 It has been successfully completed.

“Melting Ice, Rising Seas: How the Himalayas Connect to Climate Change” This competition, based on the theme, inspired the youth of Australia and Nepal to raise their voice on environmental issues by making them aware of climate change.

In the program FeNCAA President Mr. Bum Yongjan, Founder President Dr. Raju Adhikari, and Honorary member of Nepafe Dr. Home pant had a special presence. Also Recycle to Revive Inc. Chairman of Shri Bhaskar Regmi He specifically commented on possible measures to mitigate climate change through community recycling efforts.

A panel of distinguished judges to evaluate the competition Dr. Sitaram Ghimire, Dr. Ram Acharya, and Dr. Buddhi Chaudhary was present, who objectively evaluated the best performance of the participants.

The winning talent in the competition are as follows:

     

      • First Place: prabha thakur– $300 cash prize and certificate

      • second place: Arya Adhikari– $200 cash prize and certificate

      • Third place: Prakriti Baral– $100 cash prize and certificate

    This competition has made a significant contribution to highlighting the strong voice of youth for climate advocacy at the international level. A big thank you to all the participants, judges, supporters and partners who contributed to making the event a success.
